• DESCRIPTION

Claire’s cable knit wrist warmers pattern will allow you to create large twisted cables in an intricate design.

This design is inspired by the cable knit wrist warmers that Claire wears in Outlander season 1, episode 2 'Castle Leoch'.

The pattern has instructions for you to knit the arm warmers flat and then seam to complete.

There are also instructions for you to knit in the round.

Yarn

1 x 100g skein of any medium weight yarn (04) / Aran / Worsted / 10 Ply.

I used La Mia Natural Wool 100g (3.5 oz) 200m (218 yd) in the color brown H6.

Substitute Yarn - Cascade 220 - Walnut Heather 8013.

Needles

• 5mm (US 8) knitting needles.
• 5mm (US 8) cable needle.

If you are knitting in the round you will need 5mm (US 8) 9" or 16" circular knitting needles.

• SKILLS

Level - Intermediate

This is an intermediate-level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, and cable stitches.

• SIZING

Women's small/medium

Length = 10 inches
Width (laying flat and unstretched) = 4 inches

Small batch sales of finished pieces made from this pattern are permitted, but the seller must use their own photographs and credit must be given to Handy Little Me as the designer.
